The 28-second shot list
Every viral raindance video follows the same four beats, cut to the song. Your video is rendered shot for shot to the original timing — start the sound at 0:00 and the cuts land where the song expects them.
- 0–4s
The wait — Photo 1’s person sits alone at the end of a sunlit wooden pier, looking out to sea, as Photo 2’s person walks up behind
- 4–18s
The singer — Photo 2’s person sings to camera in close-ups by the water and on the pier, with a moment of the two of you side by side on the sand
- 18–25s
Together — a playful photo shoot on the pier as the singer struts toward the camera, then the singer’s last close-up by the sea
- 25–28s
The ending — at dusk on the beach, seen from behind as the waves roll in, then close together on the sand
